FREE TRAINING COURSES
SMJ Consulting offers fully-funded cybersecurity courses to ex-Forces personnel, military spouses, and ex-police officers, with no experience needed. Training, from six to 200 hours, is delivered remotely with IBM and Abertay University.
Courses like Penetration Testing, Cybersecurity Policy, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) provide the skills needed to excel in cybersecurity.

Welcome to SMJ. I’m Andrew Jackson, founder and managing director, and it’s my pleasure to introduce our mission. Ten years ago, as a former brigadier, I established SMJ to bridge the gap between the military and civilian job markets, helping service leavers transition smoothly into meaningful careers. Since then, we’ve launched the Pathways Programme, offering free cybersecurity training to veterans, and most recently, SMJ Consulting Services, which supports companies in enhancing their social value through veteran-friendly initiatives.
