This self-directed online course uses IBM’s SkillsBuild platform to introduce a range of concepts in cybersecurity, followed by practical modules on routing, basic programming, and use of Linux tools to assess vulnerabilities across a network.

The course is available and accessible after signing up and is taken at your own pace. We estimate candidates will require around 6 hours to complete the Cybersecurity Fundamentals package, and a further 25 hours for the remainder.

With no costs to learners, our courses offer a valuable pathway to professional development and certification. This course provides an IBM badge of completion and practical understanding of hacking and penetration testing concepts.
