TAKE A LOOK AT THE LAST DECADE OF SMJ

OUR ORIGINS
SaluteMyJob was founded by Andrew Jackson as a direct response to the challenges faced by ex-military personnel in transitioning to civilian employment. A seasoned leader with a military background himself, Andrew Jackson recognised a significant gap in the support systems available to veterans seeking meaningful careers outside of the armed forces. His vision was to bridge the divide between the highly skilled veteran workforce and employers eager to leverage their talents.

EARLY VISION & DEVELOPMENT
Andrew Jackson’s experience in the military gave him firsthand insight into the breadth of skills veterans bring to the table. Inspired by successful veteran employment initiatives in other countries, he sought to adapt and implement best practices within the UK. His leadership ensured that SaluteMyJob was built on principles of collaboration, empathy, and a results-orientated approach.
From its inception, SaluteMyJob partnered with a range of stakeholders, including government agencies, veteran charities, and private sector employers. These partnerships have been instrumental in building a robust framework for veteran employment and ensuring the initiative’s long-term impact.
LEGACY & IMPACT
Since its founding, SaluteMyJob has transformed countless lives, helping veterans transition to fulfilling careers and enabling businesses to harness the unique strengths of the veteran workforce. Andrew Jackson’s dedication to empowering ex-military personnel has not only raised awareness about the importance of veteran employment but also established a model of success that inspires similar initiatives worldwide.
In the years since its creation, SaluteMyJob continues to serve as a vital bridge between the military and civilian worlds, ensuring that no veteran’s skills go unrecognised or underutilised.
