Find out more about SaluteMyJob’s partnership with Troopr and how this collaboration will create even more opportunities for the Armed Forces Community.

Troopr’s mission is to empower the Armed Forces community by helping them discover and connect with opportunities that enhance their lives across key areas: work, housing, health and wellbeing, money, and community. 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Troopr and we can’t wait to be a part of it!

Created by Hatty Jackson, former Director of SaluteMyJob, Troopr was launched to make the wide-ranging opportunities available more accessible to the Armed Forces community.

Hatty explained: “Over 12,500 organisations in the UK have pledged their support to the Armed Forces community in various ways, recognising the sacrifices made by service members, military spouses, and families. Additionally, more than 2,200 service charities exist solely to support this community. However, according to the Office for Veterans Affairs  ‘Public Perceptions’ report, many in the Armed Forces community feel they are not well-supported.

“A significant part of the problem is not the lack of opportunities, but the difficulty in accessing them. Members of the military community often don’t know where to go to find opportunities, and organisations struggle to effectively promote them.

“To address this, we developed Troopr—a custom-coded, user-friendly platform that brings together a wealth of opportunities in one place. Troopr bridges the gap by making these opportunities visible and accessible, while also showcasing the exceptional work of forces-friendly organisations like SaluteMyJob.”

Hatty is proud to partner with SalutemyJob to raise awareness of opportunities such as our free cybersecurity training courses, which provide service leavers, veterans, and their families with valuable skills and career pathways.

“This partnership ensures these opportunities reach the wider Armed Forces community, helping them upskill, retrain, and connect with employers. It also supports our shared goal of making it easier for veterans to access meaningful careers and for employers to find skilled talent,” said Hatty. “At the same time, SaluteMyJob’s involvement helps raise awareness of Troopr, bringing us closer to our mission of creating a central hub where the Armed Forces community can easily access the opportunities they deserve.”

Andrew Jackson, Managing Director of SaluteMyJob, said: “We are delighted to partner with Troopr It’s exciting to see the traction the platform has achieved in such a short time and I look forward to seeing the positive impact it has on the Armed Forces Community as a whole. It is also a great way for SaluteMyJob to share the opportunities our clients offer to the wider community.”

Troopr stands out from other organisations with its unique, collaborative approach and their in-house expertise. With skilled developers and marketing professionals, they continuously enhance their platform to improve user experience and amplify the reach of organisations’ opportunities and campaigns. Troopr is designed to simplify and unify access to opportunities, ensuring everyone in the Armed Forces community benefits.

So what does  2025 have in store for Troopr?

Hatty said: “2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Troopr! We aim to significantly increase our monthly platform users and expand our partnerships with forces-friendly organisations.

“We’ll also prioritise creating educational content in collaboration with experts, covering essential topics like financial advice, career guidance, and wellbeing. Ultimately, our goal is for Troopr to become the go-to platform for the Armed Forces community, connecting them to the opportunities they need and deserve while continuing to innovate and grow.”
